Following the success of previous collaborations, such as “Sign for an equal game” and “FootbALL,” this new campaign calls for action with an impressive lineup of world stars, including Erling Haaland, Lautaro Martínez, Ana Marković, Ruud Gullit, Gareth Bale, Thierry Henry, Didier Deschamps and Rio Ferdinand.

Initiative of UEFA and European Resuscitation Council.
The initiative by UEFA and the European Resuscitation Council, focuses on the importance of CPR. With cardiac arrest being the third leading cause of death in Europe, the campaign emphasizes the importance of quick action. Every minute counts, as the chance of survival decreases by 10% per minute.

Interactive CPR course
The campaign, which has been live since this week, invites soccer fans to participate in an interactive CPR course on the platform get-trained.com. In less than four minutes, soccer fans will learn the essential skills of CPR, accessible in 40 different languages.

Engagement of football icons
The involvement of soccer icons makes the training on get-trained.com unique. In a virtual locker room, Ruud Gullit invites soccer fans to participate in the course with the stars. Interactive questions guide users through the module, with player responses to answers given. Later this spring, UEFA will also launch an abbreviated version of the course on Instagram.

A climax during UEFA EURO 2024
The campaign can be seen from now on all UEFA channels. With EURO 2024 coming up, the campaign will get even more visibility. Around matches, we are launching UEFA TV commercials that are also visible in and around stadiums. Also in all fan zones of the ten host cities there will be activities around this topic.

Unfortunately, you often hear about cardiac arrests in stadiums or on the soccer field. If this campaign can save even one extra life, we consider it a success.
