Albert Heijn launches new campaign ‘Zet ‘m op Oranje!’

This European Championship, Albert Heijn has something special in store for customers. For every €15 spent on groceries, customers receive two Oranje Spelerskaarten. These aren’t just cards: there are 60 unique ‘Spelerskaarten’ featuring 19 different players and the head coach. Create your ideal lineup with friends or family and use the cards as coasters for your at-home viewing parties. And the best part? Challenge your football friends with the football terms on the back and play the ‘AHA! Oranje Spel’!

“With this campaign, we want to engage Albert Heijn customers in a playful way during the European Championship and the Orange fever,” says Guido Klomp, Director at Golazo Brands NL. “Collecting the Player Cards and playing the ‘AHA! Oranje Spel’-game brings extra fun and togetherness during the tournament.”

Whether you’re a novice fan or a seasoned football expert, the ‘AHA! Oranje Spel’-game is for everyone. The best part? You can start right away! With two cards, you can immediately test your football knowledge with the seven terms on the back. Find trivia about the players in the package and look up explanations of unfamiliar terms online. Can you guess as many terms as possible in 45 seconds?

Albert Heijn has launched an extensive Euro campaign on TV and social media. Dutch players Cody Gakpo, Denzel Dumfries, Matthijs de Ligt, and Tijjani Reijnders enthusiastically play the ‘AHA! Oranje Spel’-game, where they have to answer the toughest questions at the most unexpected moments. Ilse and her family sit on the edge of their seats, cheering on their favorite players from the couch.
