The absolute world top was present in Amsterdam for the second year in a row. Even more visitors, a wider range of entertainment, higher viewing figures and an immense reach on social media. Padel is ‘booming’ in the Netherlands and the World Padel Tour Decathlon Amsterdam Open 2023 contributed to this in every way.


“After the first edition in 2022, Golazo, Deux Agency and Golazo Brands The Netherlands were again responsible for organizing the largest padel event in the world this year. The second edition of the World Padel Tour was organized in AFAS Live, where the concert hall was transformed into one big padel palace for five days. The professional and at the same time atmospheric ambiance ensured packed stands from the first to the last day with a total of 30,000 visitors. An extraordinary result, but above all a confirmation of the spectacular rise of padel at home and abroad. The figures speak for themselves.

Triple Double was responsible for the overall project organization, marketing communications, partnerships, entertainment and hospitality. For example, Triple Double took care of all of the tournament’s own media channels, PR, ticketing and branding and concluded partnerships with name partner Decathlon, EY, Van Lanschot Kempen, Continue and Atradius.

From both the World Padel Tour organizers and top international players, we received rave reviews about the tournament. The players felt like international sports stars because the stands were packed from the first place to the last day. With the beautiful padel court, flashing lights, smoke machines, steaming music and enthusiastic crowd, we had a great atmosphere for five days.
