Bridgestone’s inaugural Olympic campaign, “Chase Your Dream, No Matter What,” was designed to inspire and empower individuals of all ages, abilities, and passions to pursue their dreams and overcome life’s challenges.
From 2016 to 2019, we were entrusted with launching this campaign across six key markets: Spain, France, Germany, the UK, Italy, and Poland. In early 2020, we expanded to South Africa.

Primary Objectives We aimed to introduce the new campaign, unveil the brand ambassadors, and kickstart their Olympic journey while ensuring top-quality standards and consistent presence. Additionally, we focused on boosting brand awareness among key media outlets and sustaining engagement through dynamic content creation.
Strategy Overview To achieve these goals, we:
- Created media and digital assets for the campaign launch.
- Developed event concepts, managed logistics, and coordinated ambassador attendance.
- Secured locations, contracted MoCs, and production companies.
- Collaborated with national governing bodies and the IOC for approval and participation.
- Organized event setup, including technical equipment and live streaming.
- Briefed stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Provided immediate flash reports and comprehensive final reports.
Some events were broadcast live to maximize reach and engagement.
Participants Events featured local ambassadors, a well-known Master of Ceremonies, Bridgestone General Managers, PR representatives, priority media outlets, and National Olympic Committee (NOC) representatives. In some cases, Bridgestone employees also participated. Media targets were prioritized in collaboration with various stakeholders, ensuring rich storytelling opportunities and strong media relationships.
Location Planning
We conducted site visits to select strategic and visually compelling locations, often choosing prestigious venues like NOC buildings with medal showcases. We managed all technical aspects, including stage setup, lighting, sound, and video equipment.
Content Creation
We produced and provided:
- IOC approval decks.
- Ambassador briefings, including media training.
- Event clothing for ambassadors and staff.
- Detailed running orders and scripts.
- “Chase Your Dream, No Matter What” (CYDNMW) ambassador films and key visuals.
- Press packs with all necessary materials, available in print, on USB, and in the newsroom.
- Social media posts tailored for stakeholders.
- A CYDNMW content calendar.
- Flash reports summarizing event outcomes.
Results
The campaign events were a resounding success across all markets, attracting an average of 35 media outlets per event, including major local television and radio channels.
This success was evident not just in the sheer volume of media coverage—such as an Opportunity to See (OTS) of 117 million in Germany—but also in the quality, with top-tier outlets like MDR TV (ARD TV), SportBild, and Women’s Health providing coverage.
